The Woman’s Club of Evanston is an ideal setting for your most special occasion. Our stately Clubhouse, built in 1912, exudes warmth and timeless elegance. Its classic architecture includes a black and white marble entrance hall and double staircase leading to the dramatic Grand Ballroom, the perfect place for dinner and dancing. On the first floor, the intimate Tea Room with sparkling chandeliers flows into the Music Room and Sun Room providing the ideal setting for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The Club offers the beautifully appointed Member’s Room for your bridal preparations. The Woman’s Club hosts only one event at a time so yours will be the only wedding in the Clubhouse on your scheduled day!
The Ballroom
250 seated
On the second floor the dramatic two-story Ballroom accommodates up to 250 guests for a sit-down dinner without a dance floor and 230 guests with a dance floor. The Ballroom has beautiful hardwood floors for dancing and an adjacent enclosed Sun Porch for cocktail service, as well as a stage that is perfect for performers.
The Tea Room and Music Room
150 seated
The first floor Tea Room and adjacent Music Room can accommodate up to 150 guests with seating in both rooms for dinner without a dance floor. By using the adjacent Music Room for dancing, 120 guests can be seated in the tea room for dinner. The first floor also offers a beautiful enclosed Sun Porch perfect for cocktail service.
